Should Montana governor Brian Schweitzer disclose political or personal trips out of state? Add Answer

Governor Schweitzer, like many other governors, does not disclose personal or political travel out of state. Do you think the governor should have to disclose these trips to the general public? http://missoulian.com/...c03286.html

As an elected official, the Governor has a duty to the people to disclose trips paid for by other people and those paid for with State money. If the Governor wants to go on a retreat with his church, and he is paying for it, we have no right to know, but if he is going to "Hike the Appalachian Trail" at our expense, we are within our rights to demand discloser.

He's a politician...

He'll do what politicians do... Do it first ask for forgiveness later and then lie about it after that. But only after he picks your pocket to pay for it.
