Answer for: Would you eat horse meat?

#3 By choice, no. If I were starving,
yes.

I do not have a problem with people in France, Switzerland, etc. consuming horse meat. They have been doing so for centuries. I do have a problem with the &uot;no kill&uot; policy that a group of idiots voted in. As a result there are thousands of horses in the US that are starving to death, turned loose in our national parks & mountains, that are starving, etc.. Domesticated horses CANNOT survive in the wild! All of you people that voted in the &uot;no Kill" policy created one of the biggest disasters in the history of our country.

I don't blame the "no kill" policy.

I blame the horse owners who are too cheap to pay for humane euthanasia, too lazy to actually work to find a new home for the horse, or are just heartless and let the horses loose.

By providing an money for horse owners to dump their horses...it will increase breeding just so they can make extra money.

Yes, I agree with the "backyard Breeders" not breeding more horses and the same problem is with dogs. But, the problem does exist and as a result there are too many horses. As for putting them down by a vet mostly is not an option due to LACK OF MONEY and not because they don't want to spend the money. Right now there is no money in any of our pockets! Alot of people have found good homes for their horses, but there again, there are not enough people that will take a horse in todays ecomomy. These people are not cheap or lazy as you put it. Lazy people don't have livestock, there is no time to be lazy! If you ever had to take care of livestock you would retract that statement. No matter what you say or I say or anyone else says, We need the slaughter houses.
